Quasquicentennial Celebration

Courtland celebrated its Quasquicentennial in 2015 with a two-day

celebration on May 8th & May 9th, 2015.   Beginning on

Friday night, students entertained us with their artwork, musical and acting

talents.  There were various displays including historical memorabilia.  On

Saturday afternoon, students, teachers and the community

visited old classrooms, met old teachers, caught up with old and new friends

over a coffee in the café and enjoyed the classic car display on the front

lawn. The time capsule from 1980 was opened by former Principal, Ron

Gage.

It was a wonderful celebration of the staff, students and community members who have graced the hallways of our amazing school.

Special thanks to the 125th Committee, former and current staff and students, and John Glass,

Waterloo Historic Society (and former Courtland Student), for their assistance in compiling the
