Courtland Avenue Public School has been an important community hub in down town Kitchener since 1890!  Additions in the 1960s included a gymnasium and library. We are currently home to approximately 210 grade 7 and 8 students.  We also have 4 congregated classes for Enrichment, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Development Learning Community and Behavior.

At Courtland Avenue Public School, we value community and the pursuit of excellence in academics, athletics and the arts. Students participate in a multitude of activities ranging from sports and athletics to the arts and academics, lead by a combination of teachers to bring the best learning experience to our students.
