Welcome Back

We are so excited to welcome our students on Tuesday, September 7! I hope this message finds you and your family well. I want to provide for you just a few important details that will help in supporting a safe and successful transition back to in class learning at Courtland.

1. Our bell times are 8:40 am for student entry, with a 3 pm dismissal.

2. Families can find out what class their student is in by logging into School Day where you will be able to see the class assigned (7-1, 7-2, 7-3, 8-1, 8-2, 8-3, or 8-7). This information will be available in School Day on Saturday, September 4. We will also have many staff with class lists around the parking lot to tell students which class they are in and point them in the right direction.

3. Please ensure to run the Ontario COVID-19 School Screener before sending your student to school each day. Please do not send them if they are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.

4. Students will locate the lineup for their respective class and will line up with their cohort.

5. Masks are to be worn by all staff and students as we gather in the morning, when students are in the school (with exception of the times they are eating).

6. Students must wear their mask as they exit for nutrition breaks. Masks may be removed once they arrive in the designated area for their cohort. Students must remain with their cohort at all times.

Please know that every member of our wonderful staff will do everything we can to support the safety, well-being, and success of each and every one of our awesome students; from day one in September to the last day of school in June, and beyond! We value your partnership and we look forward to working together for a great school year ahead.

Take good care,

Mike
